Tips on how to structure your book

Let your friends and family tell their story of your special day as they saw it happen.

As with any story, it has a start, middle and end. So you may want to start with what you (the writer) was doing in the days or few weeks before the big day, so that the happy couple can reflect on what each of their friends and family were up to just before they were heading towards the big day, so maybe a page or at most two telling and showing what you were doing.

Then the main event, so most of the story will focus around this, but maybe try and tell of the whole day, from the morning preparation, the service and into the afternoon speeches and onto the evening, so they get a whole picture of what was going on. Try to tell of the day which they didn’t see as they were elsewhere or not aware and photographs which maybe the official photographer didn’t get as this will be an even bigger surprise for them when they get to read your book.

The end of the story for that day, although it is the start of their new life, maybe about a champagne breakfast, post wedding lunch or just reflection on the previous day/night and what was most memorable or surprising, amusing etc.

Please select your choice of cover from the above options when creating your group. You will have the option to upload your own image at that time if you would prefer.
